 Welcome to the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church homepage. Our church has been located in the Decatur, AL area for over 125 years, with a deep source of history. We strive to provide a full church program that will minister to the total man. We invite you to be a part of this. We believe that for a person to truly experience the abundant life they must know and follow Jesus as Savior and Lord. If you are a believer, we have a place of worship and service for you. If you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior we lovingly urge you to come that you might experience the warmth of Christian fellowship and hear about God's love in Christ for you. | Purpose

 We believe the bible to be inspired and the only infallible authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His mercies, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe in the present ministry and power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling and baptism the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost: they that are saved unto resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe God ordained marriage is between a man and a woman born that gender from birth only. |
